1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Compli4nt platform (“Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Compli4nt provides software-based tools to help small healthcare practices prepare HIPAA compliance documentation, conduct security risk assessments, manage workforce training, and maintain audit-ready records. The Service is a documentation and workflow tool, not a substitute for legal, compliance, or professional advice.

3. Not Legal Advice

Content generated by Compli4nt — including policies, risk assessments, training materials, and reports — is produced for informational purposes. It does not constitute legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Customers are responsible for having generated documents reviewed by qualified counsel before adopting them.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about the practice during onboarding and ongoing use.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable law.
  • Review all generated content before adoption, signature, or distribution.

5. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. COMPLI4NT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. COMPLI4NT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN REGULATORY COMPLIANCE OR PREVENT ENFORCEMENT ACTION.

6. Limitation of Liability

[To be finalized by counsel.] Compli4nt’s aggregate liability under these terms shall be limited to the fees paid by the customer in the twelve months preceding the claim. Compli4nt shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement according to the subscription terms in effect. Upon termination, customers may export their data for a limited window before deletion in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

[To be finalized by counsel.]

9. Changes to These Terms

Compli4nt may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders, who will be asked to re-accept the updated version before continuing to use the Service.
